Which laptop is better for an interior designer/graphic designer, a business laptop or a gaming laptop?

Interior designer or a graphic designer needs to work on graphics intensive applications, which require a lot of compute power. Gaming laptops can do the job, but they are built to deliver better gaming performance. They are not meant for a serious profession like interior or graphics designing. They have a loud design that gamers love, are slightly bulky to carry around and generate a lot of heat. Gamers don’t mind that as long as the laptop offers great game play, but a serious professional wouldn’t want to lug around one of these device into meetings. I would therefore suggest choosing a mobile workstation class laptop. These are developed and optimized to handle Architectural software such as AutoCAD. The HP ZBook 15v G5 Mobile Workstation for instance, is one such laptop. The laptop has a 9th gen Intel Core i5 procesor, 16 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD, and nVIDIA Quadro P600 graphics with 4 GB of dedicated video RAM. Its hardware has been certified by all major ISVs (like Autodesk, Solidworks, etc.) to run their software. Plus, it’s more rugged, and will be able to sustain everyday shocks and drops, which its likely to undergo in this profession. The laptop costs around Rs. 1.32 Lakhs.
