   Don’t Buy the Laptop

   I had purchased the laptop Dell 7415 2in1 ryzen 5 from a local store and had even purchased accidental coverage and it worked fine for a few months, but recently the right hinge has become problematic.It seems a problem affecting the masses, the right hinge is defective in the make of the laptop, and is clearly a design flaw.I had lodged the service request 15 days ago, and Dell says it will take about 20 days more.Laptop’s performance was no doubt good, and it was being used on a regular basis under normal circumstances. Ever since the hinge has come out, the lid is stuck at one position as i am afraid that it will cause further damage since I expected at least that Dell will be quick at service and will provide me prompt redressal.From the period of my request till date the hinge has become worse, to the point that the laptop has become unusable.Hence following points considering the price range, out of 5:Build and design: 1Display: 4Specifications: 4Camera: 2.5Audio: 4After sales services: 0.5I had believed in Dell but they are slowly loosing my trust with this

   WORST PURCHASE EVER….

   worst purchase ever made… the services are taking to long and it has not been 1 year since i made the purchase and i have to get my laptop fixed almost after every 3 months. sometimes there is problems with the hinge. sometimes problem with the screen and everytime the service takes two to three weeks to fix the laptop and in the mean time my work is being suffered. i won’t recommend any of you to purchase this laptop.. even when i asked for the replacement it was not made.. firstly you are buying a laptop this much costly and everytime you are getting it fiixed you have to pay to the technician. from my point of view lenovo and HP and ASUS laptops are much more better than dell laptops.

   Poor performance and expensive

   Not a good purchase. Screen quality, viewing angles are very poor. Bit heavy so you find difficulties in using stylus in regular basis. RAM is having a dual channel but they configured 4gb of 2 number in both slots so if you need to upgrade to 16 Gb then you need to replacing both RAM not one.

   DO NOT BUY. HINGES BREAK WITHIN 4 MONTHS

   Do not buy this laptop as within 4 months the hindges have given up. Customer service is also terrible. No help from Dell. Total loss.

   Screen hinges gave up in 3months

   The screen hinges gave up in 4months and not sure how much this will last after repair. Performac is good but this model has design defect due to which hinges give up automatically

   Weak build quality

   The hinge is weak, breaks easily. Handle with care. Mine broke in 3 months. A lot of people came to the service centre with the same issue.
