   good laptop in this price range..

   the machine is super fast. 16GB LPDDR4X ram is extraordinary. ultra-lightweight. supreme build quality.cons: speaker’s sound is very low.

   Decent Notebook with some shortcomings

   Just got the Swift 5 (offline) last week at INR 90K. Model I7 with 16 GB/1 Tb ssd. Gr8 machine overall. It is so light, that it almost feels like a toy, but build quality is fine considering that it weighs only 1 kg.Pros- excellent performance, lovely bright screen with touch, battery life seems to decent and of course the ultra- portability, 3 year warranty upgrade free of cost after registering on acer India websiteCons – keyboard could be better as gold on dark green is sometimes hard to make out clearly under some light conditions , only 1 level of keyboard backlighting, arrows keys placement poor, no physical button to turn off webcam for security, no LED indicator on the CAPS key2nd big con is that speakers are just not loud enough. I think my Iphone 12 stereo speakerphone is much louder.Etching on top left corner of screen mentioing Corning Anti-microbial coating seems corny and just a marketing gimmick. Priced slightly high and should be 10-15 percent cheaper (but still cheaper here in India than the UK or USA)Overall I would highly recommend this notebook, if you can adjust to the subpar keyboard and speakers.

   Worth it if Stylus/Pen also comes

   Good Configurations with 11th Gen, Core i7.No Stylus/Pen for this touchscreen model. It’s impossible to find the original Stylus.

   poor all the way

   Hello pplI am writing in distress. I bought this thing with 16gb ram 1 tb ssd from acer store and it was delivered less than a week back. Today, after I had hibernated it, it has refused to start. I am getting blue screen with mouse pointer responsive. But since it’s a public holiday and weekend, the company is dead. No support, take ur risks. Even went up to the escalation matrix and they were rude to say the least, unhelpful being part of the job. My job is at stake but the gentlemen tell me it’s late and not done at this time of the night. A fair appreciation when ur job is not at stake coz I cant recover data I produced in last three days by monday morning when their support opens up. Well I guess u pay for ur mistakes. First time I trusted acer instead of hp/ asus/ dell and the lesson is hard. Take ur risks guys and buy it.Update after a yr. the laptop has its own mind wrt the shift key. u cant work on it. acer says we dOnt have record of having SolD it to u> they are asking for an invoice which they NeVer sent. when I had asked for an invoIce, they had told ME WE KEEP DIGITAL copies FOR EnvironmentaL stuff> now they seem to have changed their mind> go figure !!

   Poor Laptop

   Very very poor battery life. If you are using keyboard for programming or office work, don’t buy. Poor sound quality, even you can’t listen from 1 meter at full volume. I regret to buy this 😫. Also customer care is not good compare to others.

   Network issues

   Laptop can’t run basic things, it is not powerful. And network issues are plenty. Good luck figuring it out ‘coz you’re on your own.

    Speeker qualitys.and compatibility

    The media could not be loaded.

    Worst laptop and Acer service

    Review after using 5 Month…Everything is good in this laptop.but issue with wifi nic card. The issue started when windows update once complicated.Nic card driver got new update same nic drivers as shown in acer website.Driver got currpted after close the lid. I have tried all thing which I got from acer customer care but no luck.Finally they have me suggested format all window and use but do not update windows patch. This is asking acer from there customer.suxh big irritated to me. How can acer customer care asked there customer to not update patch it’s mandatory yaar.This issue again and again started wih meNo till solution from Acer..Consider this point if any one going to buy this laptop.

    Not worth the Acer’s pathetic after-sales and Amazon’s 7-days replacement “promise”

    Bought it only to recieve a defective display. Contacted Amazon for replacement and but surprisingly, Amazon kept on denying the replacement and their “technician service” was another time wasting and frustrating process where no one came even after 4 such requests, wasting 8 days of mine.Acer’s customer care is also non-existant. Customer care number is a premium number itself, so you cannot call them via a prepaid phone number. Their chat “support” will make you wait almost an hour, only to inform you at the end that there is no chat agent available. Email assistance is, again, non-excistant.Acer is not at all trustworthy for a premium device, at least not in India with this bad after-sales support.Spend your money elsewhere, maybe asus/lenovo for a similar price and go for dell/hp with an upgraded budget.

    Touch is worst

    Don’t ever go for touch screen one…..i bough it in the month of may and now its july and the touch is gone and it does anything can’t control the screen even through curser …..:for neh it was really a big mistake

    Bubbles on back panel – DO NOT PURCHASE

    If you are planning to purchase, please do not 🚫.Back panel develops air bubbles, and when ask for support reply would be that it is Customer Induced Damage, not covered under warranty. When asked for reasons of this damage, they say it is because of over heat. Pretty weird answer, when you have AC which runs for around 18-20 hours per day. Never Over charged, but still this is heat issue.Please go for some other brand!

    Fantastic product with a major flaw

    This product has so much potential. I love the keyboard, its colorful screen, and the touch screen. Its a powerful machine that can handle multiple tasks.Its one glaring flaw is the wifi connection. It regularly disconnects or refuses to connect to wifi. This renders the product almost unusable. It was a great product and now its difficult to use. I wish they would fix this one issue

    Do not play games on charging on

    Laptop might heat up while heavy gaming on charging mode…. Battery life can let you play 4 hours approximately so its not bad… Camera quality is bad… Camera doesn’t support Windows hello…. Wake time is less than one second…. Display is good but bit reflective

    Worst battery got replaced 3 times

    Acer Swift 5 battery is the worst.They replaced 3 times the battery within 3 months when my laptop is in warranty now when it’s out of warranty again the laptop start showing battery problem last time battery got changed in jan 2022 and my battery warranty got expired on March 2022 they took the laptop on 28 April and now saying u have to pay 6500 for the battery Don’t believe on you service. They didn’t even do some research and development why it’s happening again and againWorst laptop experience

    Pathetic device.

    Issue I faced within one week of use are as follows-1. Networking with my hp printer doesn’t happen easily. Many a times it does not connect only with the printer.2. Display icons are fade and small, even after changing the display settings.3. For one who wants to buy a premium laptop just don’t go for this. It doesn’t feel premium at all.4. Keys noisy.5. No preloaded ms office in this. One has to shell another Rs. 10000, to buy ms office to use this laptop.6. Norton security is valid only for a month.Request all, pl go for some known branded products like dell, hp, lenovo but not for this one. You will regret your decision.

    Amazing expect for cam and sound

    The media could not be loaded.

     Mainly Camera and sound are dissapointing. For this price both should have been better. Otherwise laptop was very good. Smooth, quick and premium. Keyboard backlit won’t wake if we touch the touchpad, we have to press a button to turn on the backlit. This was a con. It should be fixed. Hope sound,camera,backlit will be fixed by a software update, I think so.
