I played watch dogs 2 with high settings @75-90fps (with temporal filtering on), without it 50-61fps @ high. Ultra 28-42fps without temporal filtering onbattlefield 1 @ultra 70-90 fpsForza Horizon 4 @ custom (high-ultra) 78-120state of mind @epic 61 fpsI think these results are decent as it is not a high end GPU.Pros:*The GPU temperature never reached more than 66°C Even after 2hrs of gaming . So Thermals are Osm. CPU reached nearly 80°C when stress testing but during gaming around 72-75°C. *During working hours the laptop remains silent you won’t notice any sound if set to quiet mode. I purchased this model (R5-5600H) for 59k, and to be honest, do not go for this if it is more than 60k. At that rate, the RTX 3050 is superior in every way, and you can leverage RT and DLSS.Now coming to the packaging, it included a 135W charging brick (which was surprisingly compact) and the laptop itself. Nothing else, no case or accessories, but that is to be expected from a budget laptop.Build Quality: The Shadow Black model is made of premium feeling plastic. The hinge seems to be extremely stable, but it is almost impossible to open the lid with one hand, which in my opinion isn’t a big deal. Overall, a good package for the price. This wouldn’t feel out of place in a professional setting unlike other gaming laptops.Screen: Yes, its only 250 nits and covers only 45% of NTSC, but I did not notice it personally. The brightness at 100% was sufficient for use during the day(indoors), and the screen was usable up to 20% brightness. Colors are vibrant and media consumption is a breeze on this screen.Battery Life: This is one of the few weak points of this laptop, With a measly 46Wh battery, I did not expect it to perform as good as say, the Asus Zephyrus series, but on a whole, battery life was quite disappointing to say the least, but typical for a gaming machine. It lasted for around 5 hours at 50% brightness and with Bluetooth and the backlight switched off, all while performing day to day tasks such as word processing, coding on Python, and watching YouTube. DO NOT game on battery power, as that will severely damage the cells.Performance: The 5600H is an excellent CPU for the money, and with SMT it is able to breeze through most of my requirements, but the same cannot be said of the GTX 1650. Although it is able to reach the refresh rate of the monitor on most eSports titles, it struggles to play through more demanding AAA games such as Cyberpunk 2077, where i was only getting 30fps on Medium settings. Meanwhile, I got 45fps at Medium settings in Control, and 120fps in Crysis. Minecraft, Super Meat Boy, Terraria, Tomb Raider(2013), were all able to max out the refresh rate of the screen at their highest settings. I would strongly advise to upgrade the memory to a dual channel configuration as that would significantly improve the performance. Regarding thermals, the CPU did get quite hot while gaming(90C), but the heat was swiftly dissipated by the excellent cooling system. The GPU never throttled and always stayed under 75C.Keyboard and Touchpad: Lenovo is known for their tactile keyboards, and this one is no exception. Has great travel distance and keystrokes feel snappy. The backlight comes in 2 levels, but I did not notice any difference in brightness between them (perhaps a defect). The touchpad was serviceable for daily tasks, but not for gaming.Verdict: On a whole, the new Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 is an attractive options for gamers on a budget, with a sleek and professional design, great thermals and acceptable performance for the price. The keyboard is a stand-out in this price range, while the battery life is disappointing and below average in this class of laptops.

Edit after 3 months of usage : played wwe 2k19 which is butter smooth, played pubg, and project cars which is extremely smooth… No lag and these games can be run very smoothly in ideapad gaming 3,now comes to the point where I installed God of war fairlight then it got hanged even though with medium settings.. It got freezed had to force shutdown the lappy and after restarting it works fine when I uninstalled God of war… Upto now a good experience in multitasking, coding, browsing.. Bettery back also fine with normal usage… But for gaming it gives only 1 hr.. So plug and enjoy… Will update more about it soon..At the time received :Firstly plugin the laptop and connect to wifi so that windows 11 update gets downloaded…Microsoft Edge stopped working at first time but after some time it’s fine… Display is average we cannot see the screen under 50 percentage brightness… Overall good for 58k cant ask for more… But it should be between 53 to 55k…but still fine.. Will update more after usage… Haven’t tested any games yet… Battery around 2 to 3 hrs that’s avg

The laptop comes with a pre installed 2280 nvme ssd which blocks the path of additional SATA drive. So the only option to upgrade SSD is to either buy a larger 2280 ssd and replace the pre installed one or to add a 2242 nvme ssd which costs a lot and is not readily available. The storage upgrade has a big limitation considering this thing, I really thought the laptop would come with a 2242 SSD pre installed so I would be able to add 2280 SSD in additional slot but it came with a 2280 one.

This is the best budget laptop under 60k. Battery backup is as same as the all gaming laptops. It can perform all the tasks very easily. Typing experience is soo good better than other brands. Colour accuracy is average. Best laptop in this budget. Just go for it.

I’m full time software developer, i bought this laptop mainly for programming purpose but it’s really good laptop at this price but the battery backup is less than regular laptops, if you want good laptop then sacrifice the battery backup

I just got my lenovo IdeaPad gaming 3 for 61k and the screen has a serious issue already…i received the laptop today and the screen is flickering already.I have requested replacement from Amazon, let’s see how their services will be. The seller is selling defective laptop for less price i guess.Will update this review once the issue gets resolvedUpdate on replacement-(13 Jan) one week after ordering replacement…Guys whoever it is trying to buy a laptop from Amazon ,I REQUEST YOU NOT TO BUY IT … I’m struggling from a week to get a replacement (even though the laptop was defective upon unboxing and even after I have the video of the unboxing) and not got replacement till now.DONT FALL INTO THIS MESS .. Lenovo IdeaPad gaming comes with very elegant design . Thermals is mind-blowing.max temperature arround 75-80 degree. Key quality is excellent. Screen quality is very fine as compare to other gaming laptop . Performance is epic .centre of attraction is ryzen 5 5600h 6c 12threads with 120hz at price point is best . Very nice deal . I bought this laptop in republic sale around 58k . Value for money laptop with excellent thermal system.Go for it . Battery life around 4hrs for gaming at around 2hr .

First of all before buying this laptop i was confused which laptop should i buy. Acer Nitro 5 or Lenovo Idea Pad Gaming in the amazon where the acer hasintel processor and lenovo has ryzen processor and isaw reviews in amazon where only few people reviewed i was scared then i saw serveral youtube videos and got satisfied with lenovo.But Acer nitro 5 was quiet expensive with price around 70k price with i5 11300h. Far 5 past years ryzen is dominating intel with the performance and lenovo comes with 60k which is pretty good.When you say about processor i5 competes with ryzen 5 series but ryzen 5 series compete with i7 series which very shocking and finally coming with review.The BUILT QUALITY PRETTY GOOD and LEGIT 120 HZ DISPLAY i have been using for 2 days its very fast especially boot up speed. just two seconds is enough. It’s good compact but abit heavy.. battery life is gd it can last for 6hr with light use with battery saver on and if gaming then 1hr or 1.5 hrs not more then that, performance is ok..did not try games yet, sound is really bad very low, it need abit more brighter other wise screen is fine, i will suggest to add 8gb more ram if want better performance…over all its good but i believe it shd have been abit cheaper doesn’t justify price

I bought this just because it had hdd slotBut when i tried to add hdd you have to remove ssd to fir hdd which a poor design and on top of that u can’t use a full size nvme ssd in second slot and good luck with finding small ssd for cheaper price disappointed buy storage upgradabilityBut thermals are really good on this laptopAnd performance was slick

i am very happy to buy this laptop as for the price i got rs 57k which very good for this laptopi played gta 5 on max graphics i way getting more the 60fps which i wasn’t even expecting i played fortnit on epic graphics [max] and i was getting morr then 70fps which is quite average and i played bgmi in bluestacks 5 on smooth + 90fps 1080p 400dpi i was getting about 70fps which is good on emulator i was playing and i also played pubg m in gmeloop on same sittings and i was getting constant 90fps which is really goodbattery life is averagescreen is really goodthe lenovo vantage software is alos very goodif you budget is super tight just buy this laptop or die

Dude, I have no complaints about this laptop,.. the build, screen quality and thermals are great. If you can extend your budget you can go for Legion 5 itself, not that this laptop isn’t good, this laptop is great but its just my suggestion.

1. Good config2. I’ll be using it for non gaming purpose so expecting more time compared to gaming time backup3. Expansion slots available but m.2 slot which is empty has challenge to place ssd because slot which is empty is exclusively for 42mm SSD which is rarely available. Need to try some risky desi juggad. But I’ll not. Better I’ll by serial port SSD HDD which can be placed easily next to present available SSD.4. RAM expansion available – I’ll go for 8 GB only5.
