   Screen got damaged within 2 months

   I bought this laptop from Croma as it wasn’t available here. However, I’m really disappointed with HP and Croma for having sold me a defective product. The screen got damaged within 2 months and I had tried convincing Croma for the scope of replacement of laptop as I’m not comfortable with working on a relatively new laptop with repaired screen. However, it didn’t materialise. I submitted the laptop on February 5th, 2022 to Croma. However, they submitted it to HP Service Center only on February 9th, 2022. On call with HP Service Team, they said that they will have to check OS first and let us know, post that they’ll order the screen replacement. I’ve asked them to do it on priority as I mentioned that I’ve paid a premium over the regular laptops available and accepting sub par quality service hampers the product experience. They were insistant that the laptop will take 7 days to repair as screen part will have to come from their hub. I’ve asked them to confirm if they have parts in stock and from which hub they will get the screen. But they gave me a generic answer that it’ll come anywhere from India and I’ll have to wait. I don’t find that convincing as I’ve heard stories where service center taking up lot of weeks to resolve the issue if it’s an under warranty replacement. I have been following up with them but they have an answer that it’s not yet ready. However, I’ll wait till end of the 7th day of submission of laptop ie till Feb 16th. I’m planning to escalate through whatever forums are available. I’m quoting croma here as they had delayed submission of laptop by 4 days. If in case you’re planning to buy any laptop which is more expensive than Apple please go for Apple, I’m not promising good quality but as their variety of models is limited. The probability of getting good quality and better service will be there. Anyways, It’s quite unfortunate for the things that have happened. Waiting positively.    Best compact beast

   Have been using this laptop for last one week1)Screen is brilliant, i watch with 50%brightness mostly… Its that bright2) excellent battery life, i have got roughly around 5hrs screen time. Not checked properly3)sound quality is very good4) keypad is so silent and easy to use5) its very light and compact so very good as a travel companionDont forget to activate the extended 2yr warranty for free.

   Envy 14 is a winner!

   The media could not be loaded.

    Fantastic machine. I have been using only for a few days now, but this laptop is an absolute beast in this category.For this price range 77k, there is no oother laptop which can beat this. Absolute gem !!Display quality is great, good battery life, bery good speakers!
